'Tag! You're It' program heads to Ohio

When he’s not overseas performing for troops in Iraq, country music star and American Legion Legacy Scholarship fund spokesman Michael Peterson is speaking to high school students regarding his program, “TAG! You’re it.” And on March 28, Peterson will be presenting his program at Buckeye Central High School in New Washington, Ohio, to hundreds of students from 73 high schools located within the district. The event is sponsored by Ohio’s 5th District Sons of The American Legion.

“The goal is to bring students from every corner of the district together for a positive life-changing experience,” said Randy Eicher, a member of 5th District Sons of The American Legion.

The acronym TAG stands for:

Take ultimate responsibility

Access resources

Game plan, get results, gut check and go again

“TAG! You’re it” sends young adults a powerful message to take control of their life and to meet the future’s numerous challenges. During the program, Peterson will present action steps for personal success in four main categories: brain, body, relationships and purpose.
