Let's just hope that whoever is the person to sing the National Anthem knows how is it supposed to be sung and does it correctly.

It is a shame when someone from the one of the original colonies screws up the ational Anthem.

The National Anthem is just that, the National Anthem. It is not a song for someone to put their personal touch or charachter to. Sing it out and sing it well,and you will have a beautiful song and applause from everyone who hears it.
