Members of Chauncey Eagle Horn/Philip Iyotte American Legion Post 125 in Rosebud, S.D. spent their Memorial Day driving nearly 160 miles over a span of more than 10 hours to pay honors at 22 cemeteries on the Rosebud Reservation.
Apache Junction Chapter 27 Secretary Dixie Becker organized Christmas Stars program. In the fall, Arizona State Veterans Home residents filled out Christmas wishes on paper stars. Christmas Star donors adopted a star and provided a gift to the veteran.
