Eagle Scout project honors vets at Post 139 in Milton, W.Va.

A Boy Scout in Milton, W.Va., honored veterans by building six wooden benches. One bench for each branch of the military and one to honor POWs and MIAs. The Scout, Justin Hall, wanted to honor veterans and give the post seating for events held at the Legion. He also made silhouettes to draw attention to the building, hoping to create interest from the local community. He was able to replace all the flags with the help of business sponsors. The final result of his hard work would not have been possible without the help of volunteers and his Scout troop. He plans to do a dedication ceremony on June 20 to conclude his project. A wonderful tribute that will be used for years to come.
