During the Dec. 15, 2020, Legion 72 Family meeting, the honor detail/guard was presented a gift (check) from the Tennessee Valley Authority Veterans Association (TVAVA) to purchase a ceremonial bugle and case to be used when our bugle player is unavailable for funerals/ceremonies. Phillip W. Hill Jr., representative from TVAVA was present for the bugle presentation. Post 72 Commander Lisa K. Polarek presented Phil an American Legion coin and Squadron 72 Commander Don L. Bailey Jr. presented him with a token of appreciation. Phil came to speak to Dover Post 72 a few years ago during a post meeting. We would like to thank TVA and its veterans organization for continuing to take care of veterans and their families, and their assistance and support of the Post 72 honor/color guard.
