The St. Tammany Parish Honor Guard participated in the Madisonville July 4 parade and ceremony. Members from American Legion Post 16 (Covington, La.) Honor Guard included Commander Richard Mecom, Honor Guard Commander Rick Sunders, Past Commander James Lacassagne, 1st Vice Commander Joe Odgen, Adjutant Gary Songy and Honor Guard Member Wayne Plaisance.
Raising of the U.S. flag, Taps and rifle salute were performed.
