North Iredell American Legion Post 113 celebrated the 100th birthday of longtime Legionaire Mr. Dick Norris. After serving in the Army Air Corps during World War II, Dick returned to rural Iredell County (Harmony, N.C.) and continued his farming. He joined the post 68 years ago and has been a faithful member.
The post celebrated his birthday with a huge chocolate cake which everyone enjoyed.
