During the American Legion Department of Louisiana Convention held in Alexandria June 2-5, Department Vice Commander Carl McGee (left) and Department Commander Richard Bell (right) presented the commander’s Big 12 Goal Date Award, in the category of posts with 51 to 100 members, to Albert L. Nevils Post 244 in Kinder for their efforts with membership in 2021-2022. Post 244 has achieved 114.5% of its membership goal for the year, which is the most in the state for posts in its category.
