During the summer months, members of American Legion Post 290, under the direction of Post Adjutant John Haehn, distributed important information regarding Veterans Affairs at the Stafford, Va., Farmers Market. Most of the information was provided by the Veterans Affairs office and other government agencies. The tent location was donated by the management of the farmers market. The post has recruited more than 60 new members during this time, Haehn and Fred Santiago, director of the Post 290 Riders group, are pictured. Many post members including post Commander Dave Stein, helped during this encouraging period.
