Historians from Bella Vista Post 341 took back-to-back first-place honors in the National Historian Contest in 2012 and 2013. In 2012 Post Historian Jim Heath took first-place honors with his Post 341 narrative. In 2013 C. Jacob Greeling, Post Historian, took first-place honors for the Post 341 yearbook.
