The Eternal Flame Monument was dedicated in 1970, but due to the high cost of natural gas, the flame was extinguished over 30 years ago. We recently installed an electric version of the flame that flickers 24 hours a day. Picou donated the globe, bulb and installation; Wright assisted while Bargman and Warhausen completed the wiring at the Legion connection.
