Mayfield (Pa.) American Legion Post 610 presents new AED to Mayfield Borough Police Department

Members of American Legion Post 610, Mayfield, present a Physio-Control LifePak automated external defibrillator (AED) to the Mayfield Borough Police Department.
From left in the picture: Adjutant Nicholas Racht, Legionnaire Alan Kopa, Legionnaire David Malsen, Legionnaire John Shust, Commander Thomas Arthur, Mayfield Borough Police Chief Joseph Perechinsky, Steward William Bowan, Finance Officer John Ogozaly, Legionnaire Thomas Opiel, Vice Commander Dominick Surace, Legionnaire Paul Vilgos. This is the third AED donated by The American Legion to the Mayfield Police Department in an effort to equip all the department's patrol vehicles with the lifesaving technology. Chief Perechinsky has been very progressive in equipping and training the borough officers to handle medical emergencies. Racht, who is also a Mayfield police officer as well as a paramedic/firefighter, works closely with Perechinsky on providing medical equipment and training for the department.
