Despite the six inches of snow, howling winds and icy conditions, Peter Wollner Post 288 and the Ladies Auxiliary hosted the annual Vets Holiday Party.

Twenty-three veterans from the Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center in Milwaukee were treated to a jingle-bell rocking' good time.

Veterans munched on cookies, sang carols and stuffed their bellies with turkey.

Legionnaire Tom Ingram organized the event along with Auxiliary President Maggie Geiger, two examples of extraordinary people making an extraordinary difference in others' lives.

Special thanks to the Young Patriots and Cedarburg High School Chamber Choir for bringing smiles to the veterans faces.
