An annual tradition for the past 5 years at Joseph J. Jacubic Post 572 in Parma, Ohio, is to bring some Christmas cheer to veteran residents in nursing homes. Organized by the Auxiliary unit, they provided 85 stuffed Xmas stockings for all 85 residents, and stockings and gift bags to all 24 veteran residents of the Mount Alverna Home. Post members provide donated personal hygiene items, games, puzzles, playing cards, underwear, socks, scarves etc. This year over 800 various items were donated throughout the year by post members.
