This is a book about my years as a NYC fireman, 1959-1979, the war years. It also tells about my small part in the recovery at Ground Zero after 9/11, and my fight with two types of cancer after 9/11.

While my book is for sale at Amazon.com. and other websites, I am proud that my book has been accepted at 25 libraries throughout the US. It has also been accepted by the NYFD library, and the 9/11 Memorial museum library.

About the author:

Born NYC 1934, I served in US Army and then became a NYC fireman from 1959-1979. During this time, I also worked part time as the driver to Mr. W. F. Buckley, author and editor for The National Review Magazine. After NYFD, I became a NJ state corrections officer.
