Children & Youth Committee seeks input on annual conference

Preparations are currently under way for the 10th annual American Legion Children & Youth Conference in Indianapolis in September, and input is requested.

Legion family attendees of the annual conference hear presentations about programs within the organization, as well as ones from outside organizations, that have a positive impact on today’s young people. They also learn ways to grow children and youth programs at the department and post level.

The American Legion’s Committee on Children & Youth wants to hear from departments and posts about their successful child health, safety and welfare programs. The committee would also like to know how Legionnaires promote the Legion’s Children & Youth programs within their communities, whether it’s through school events, fundraisers, media relationships or other special events.
