Legion to host H2H Job Fair in Minneapolis

The American Legion's Economic Division will host its annual Heroes to Hometowns' Transition & Benefits Job Fair on Aug. 27 in Minneapolis. Exclusive workshops on how to successfully promote military experience for civilian careers will also be held on Aug. 26.The job fair, which precedes the Legion's national convention, will run from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Minneapolis Convention Center, 1301 2nd Ave. S, Minneapolis, Minn., Rooms M100A-J, Mezzanine Level."Our Heroes to Hometowns Job Fair gives veterans the opportunity to network with private and public hiring managers, and fellow veterans transitioning from military to civilian careers," said Joe Sharpe, economic director of The American Legion.

The American Legion will hold its 93rd annual national convention in Minneapolis, Aug. 26 to Sept. 1.
