Department of Puerto Rico hosting job fair Oct. 19

The American Legion Department of Puerto Rico is presenting an employment resource and job fair on Oct. 19 for transitioning veterans, National Guard, reserves and their families.

The event will be held at Coliseo Guillermo Angulo, Calle 24, Carolina, P.R., from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event is free but onsite parking will cost $4.

The agenda, subject to change:

9-11 a.m., resource fair. Career specialists at dedicate employment resource booths will offer complimentary career counseling, resume editing and interview coaching.

11 a.m.-3 p.m., career fair and networking session.

Partners in presenting the event include SkillMil, Municipio de Carolina, Conexion Laboral (Carolina), and the Departamento del Trabajo y Recursos Humanos.
