Philadelphia

The Philadelphia event was the 42nd RecruitMilitary Opportunity Expo of 74 scheduled in 2010 in 37 cities. The event was highly successful, as 291 veterans, spouses and family member,s as well as 39 exhibitors were in attendance. The Featured Veteran-Friendly Organizations were Amtrak, Coca-Cola Bottling Company, DeVry University, Eaton Corporation, Frito Lay, Military Sealift Command, Transportation Security Administration and Wackenhut Corporation. The American Legion was in attendance as well as a proud sponsorship partner. The organization’s Heroes to Hometowns program worked in conjunction with RecruitMilitary. The event director was John Lundberg, a retired Marine and a RecruitMilitary account executive and opportunity expo traveler. The Lincoln Financial Field staff treated all of the veterans and exhibitors in attendance tremendously well, rolling out the red carpet for all. This was the ninth Opportunity Expo in Philadelphia for RecruitMilitary since 2007.

Charlotte

The Charlotte event was the 43rd RecruitMilitary Opportunity Expo of 74 scheduled in 2010 in 37 cities. The event was highly successful, as 346 veterans, spouses and family members as well as 24 exhibitors were in attendance. The Featured Veteran-Friendly Organizations were DeVry University, Northrop Grumman, Snap-On Tools and Transportation Security Administration. The event director was Robert Walker, an Army veteran and RecruitMilitary’s Director of Events & National Accounts. The Speedway Club staff treated all of the veterans and exhibitors in attendance tremendously well. This was the 11th Opportunity Expo in Charlotte for RecruitMilitary since 2007.
