Virgil E. LeMaster

Posted in In Memoriam

CPO Virgil E. LeMaster served in the U.S. Navy from 1937 to 1961. He served in both World War II and the Korean War aboard ship. He was stationed in exotic places such as Norfolk, Philadelphia, San Diego, Long Beach, Pearl Harbor and Yokosuka, Japan. Virgil loved the Navy and talked or tried to talk many people into joining. His son David preceded him in the U.S. Air Force for 35 years, and his grandson Davis did a six-year stint in the U.S. Army.
