Theodore Destano

Theodore D. DeSteno, 86, of Bergenfield, died on June 9, 2013. Born in Hoboken, he worked through Laborers International Union of No. America in Fort Lee. A Navy veteran of WWII, he was a member of American Legion Post 170 in Rochelle Park, St. John’s Council #1345 K of C in Dumont, St. John’s Golden Age Club and the AARP. Devoted husband of Mary C. DeSteno (nee Rufo). Beloved father of Darlene Minko and her husband John, and Denise Castner and her husband James. Loving grandfather of Steven Rice, Marianne Minko and Michael T. Minko. Dear brother of the late Maurice and Vincent DeSteno.
