Today is Legion Day

Today, Sept. 16, is officially recognized as American Legion Day by both the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives. Resolutions have been passed in both chambers honoring the Legion. Click here for U.S. Sen. Olympia Snowe's floor statement about the resolution.
