A Legion honor guard from Northern Virginia is performing ceremonial duties at the dedication of the new Jewish Chaplains Memorial in Arlington National Cemetery. Among the speakers is Bob Sussan, Department of Virginia 17th District vice commander, and New York Sons of The American Legion member Ken Kraetzer. It was Kraetzer who initiated the three-year campaign to erect the long-overdue monument dedicated to the memory of fallen Jewish chaplains.
