Zach Hearn of The American Legion's VA & R Division is in St. Paul and Hutchinson, Minn., conducting two classes for state and county veterans service officers, to explain the work of Legion representatives at VA's Board of Appeals and to offer advice on how to process disability claims. A combined total of about 150 people are expected to attend. Hearn will also conduct one-on-one advisory sessions to give service officers a better understanding of the claims appeal process.
