Traumatic Brain Injury is a major event in anyone's life. I would not wish it on anyone. I don't think doctors understand what the impact is on the victims of TBI.
Things that were so easy become almost impossible. Memories aren't there. Forget short term memories, they are a nanosecond in length.
The worse thing is there doesn't seem to be any structured evaluation program or any type of rehabilitation programs in the civilian world. I really hope the VA is on top of this.
