Legion to host Women's Empowerment Workshop

The American Legion’s Womens Outreach Program will host a Women’s Empowerment Workshop during the 98th national convention in Cincinnati. The workshop will begin at 1 p.m. on Aug. 30 at the Hilton Hotel at 35 West 5th St.

Women veterans and spouses of veterans attending the Legion's national convention are encouraged to attend the free event. Attendees will hear from special guest Robert Smith of ClearPoint Financial Solutions on ways to develop and implement a financial budgeting plan.
