The American Legion/David Law Firm 76 Freedom Car team arrived in Nashville with a new race car and new determination, as they prepared to compete in a race that marked the halfway point of the ASA Late Model Series Challenge Series for 2009.

There’s no denying the team’s dramatic improvement this year, and its effect on Legion posts near the race sites.

The Trials 200 in Salem, Ind., was the fourth race of the season on the ASA Late Model Challenge Series circuit.

Team Johnson Motorsports was in Rockingham, N.C. July 4 weekend. 76 Freedom Car visited nearby posts and raced in the ASA Late Model Cherry Bomb 200.
