My great-uncles on both my mom's and dad's sides served in every conflict from World War I, World War II, Korea and Vietnam. My father also served in the naval Merchant Marines during World War II in the closing months of the war in the Pacific.

My name is Dan Leone. I started my military career at Wentworth Military Academy from eighth grade back in 1985, and I graduated from Wentworth in 1990 from high school. I could have gone to junior college as well, but I wanted more of a challenge.
