With the help of patriotic and community-minded individuals like you, The American Legion can continue to provide much-needed assistance to our fellow veterans, servicemembers and their families. For a century, we have provided valuable resources for our communities, states and nation such as:

• Supplying wounded warriors with comfort items during recovery through The American Legion's Operation Comfort Warriors program.
• Granting scholarships to children whose parents died on active-duty or incurred a 50 percent of greater VA disability rating since Sept. 11, 2001, through our American Legion Legacy Scholarship program.
• Helping all veterans get the benefits they have earned through American Legion accredited service officers across the country.
• Fulfilling the unmet emergent needs of U.S. military personnel, veterans and their families, and providing assistance through our Veterans and Children Foundation.
