Claud Wendell Outlaw

Claud W. Outlaw, 79, of Fairfield, passed away Thursday, Nov. 23, 2012, at his residence.
Claud was born April 26, 1933, in Groesbeck, Texas, to parents Clinton and Deslar Rogers Outlaw. He retired from the U.S. Air Force in 1970 where he served as a flight engineer. He was also retired from General Dynamics and had worked for Lockheed-Martin. He had been a resident of Fairfield for 10 years, moving from Weatherford, Texas. He was a member of VFW Post 5872 in Fairfield and was past post commander of VFW Post 4746 in Weatherford. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.
Survivors include four children: James W. Outlaw and wife Sherry of Abilene, Texas; William A. Outlaw and wife Ann of Ft. Worth, Texas; Jerry L. Outlaw and wife Melinda of Lubbock, Texas; Laurie A. Boughton and husband Victor of Fairfield; 16 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; an uncle, A.M. Outlaw of Groesbeck; along with many nieces and nephews.
