Julius Jackson

Julius Jackson, 87, of Chicago passed away Friday, July 24, 2015, at the Carlton Nursing Home in Chicago. Born May 21, 1928, in Chicago, he was the son of the late Willie and Ernestine Jackson. He was preceded in death by a brother, Julus Jackson and his wife Delores Jackson. He retired from Curtiss Candy after 25 years. He and his twin brother joined World War II as kids, indicating to the service that they were older than they actually were. He was a veteran of that war, the Korean War and served in the occupation of Japan. He was a member of St. Charles American Legion Post 342. Surviving are his children Anita, Sharen, Russell, Stephanie, Renee and Ernestine.
