Frank Michael Crosley

Comrade Frank Crosley was mustered into the formation of life on Sept. 6, 1932, in Detroit. Frank served in Vietnam and was also stationed in Korea. When he was promoted to sergeant major in 1967, he was the youngest person in his grade in USAREUR.
Frank joined Paris Post 1 in 1972 when he returned to France at his retirement. He was post adjutant, vice commander, executive committee member and judge advocate.
His awards include more than the Bronze Star he was awarded while in Vietnam and the Meritorious Service in 1969. As post adjutant, he was awarded in October 1978 the "Silver-gilt medal of Paris" by Jacques Chirac, then mayor, for his outstanding devotion and service towards veterans cultural and social causes.
He was also a life member of VFW Post 605, Paris, and Grand Chef de Gare Passé since 1991, 40&8 Voiture Locale 832, Grande de France. Frank passed away on April 29, 2005.
