Changes coming to American Legion newsletter schedule  

The American Legion Media & Communications team is adjusting its schedule for its newsletter distribution, starting the week of Nov. 27. (Also, note that due to the Thanksgiving holiday there will not be an Online Update on Nov. 24.) 

Starting the week of Nov. 27, these are the changes: 

• The American Legion Online Update will move from three times a week to two, going out each Monday and Thursday. What subscribers need to know: If you currently subscribe to both Online Update and Thank You Thursday (TYT), a link to TYT will be included in your Thursday Online Update and you will no longer receive the Thank You Thursday email. If you receive Thank you Thursday but not Online Update, you will continue to receive TYT as normal. 

• The Commander's Message, which currently is distributed on Wednesdays, will be sent on an as-needed basis. 

• Dispatch will move to twice a month starting in January. The Dispatch, which is packed full of resources, training materials, etc., will continue to provide such content to subscribers but now in a more-timely fashion.
