Legislative Division staff are attending three hearings today on Capitol Hill: House Committee on Veterans’ Affair Subcommittee on Disability Assistance and Memorial Affairs, “Sustaining the Sacred Trust: An Update on our National Cemeteries”; the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Military Construction, Veterans Affairs, and Related Agencies: “Oversight Hearing: Quality of Life in the Military”; and a joint hearing by the House Committee on Veterans’ Affairs Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations, and the House Small Business Subcommittee on Contracting and Workforce, “Challenges Facing Small Businesses Owned and Controlled by Service-Disabled Veterans Seeking Federal Contracts, Using Both the SBA and VA Contracting Programs.”
