Robert Jenkins

JENKINS: Robert, 83, of Paramus, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2013, at home. Before retiring Robert worked for the Board of Social Services as a security officer. He was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Visitation R.C. Church in Paramus, past commander of VFW Post 6699 in Paramus, American Legion Post 170 in Rochelle Park, BPO Elks Lodge 2001 in Paramus, 4th Degree Knight of the Knights of Columbus Council 5427 in Washington Township, two-term member of the Paramus Board of Health, and a member of the Bergen County Veterans Memorial Commission at the Court House of Hackensack.
Cherished husband of Elizabeth Jenkins (nee Kennedy). Loving father of Robert W. Jenkins and his wife Suzanne of Midland Park, William Jenkins of Paramus, Kevin Jenkins of Saint Augustine, Fla., and Karl Jenkins of Paramus. Dear grandfather of Robert Peter and Michele Marie. Caring brother of Elizabeth Folio and Katherine Zappone and her husband Michael.
Family received friends on Oct. 18 at the Vander Plaat Memorial Home in Paramus. Funeral service was held on Oct. 19 at Our Lady of the Visitation R.C. Church. Interment at George Washington Memorial Park, N.J.
