Discussion on the net was of a general nature. Specifically, Jude KD2JEC had very favorable comments on the new IRLP/EchoLink net that meets monthly on the second Wednesday at 9 p.m. Eastern. Everett WA3DVO reminded all that the 66th annual Armed Forces Day Cross-band Test was today, May 13. Typically it is conducted on the third weekend of May, but this year the day/date [May 20] is the same as the Dayton Hamvention at Xenia, Ohio.
