American Legion National Commander Daniel Dellinger is conducting a press conference on the government shutdown’s impact on veterans, the military and their families at 2 p.m. EDT at the Indiana War Memorial in Indianapolis.
A Legion representative will discuss how the government shutdown has affected employment and training for veterans during a VSO event today at the National World War II Memorial in Washington, D.C. Approximately 33 veterans service organizations are expected to participate in the event.
