The 2010 American Legion Baseball Rule Book has been released and sent to all state department baseball chairman to distribute to coaches. Coaches must contact their department to obtain a copy of the rule book.
All changes in the 2010 rule book are highlighted in red for the senior teams and green for the junior teams. One important change to take note of on Page 13 of the rule book, and to remember moving forward, is that player and team registration is now via the Legion's Baseball Web site. Additionally, team insurance information regarding who and what is covered, benefits and terms of insurance is included in this year's book, along with a copy of The American Legion Baseball Scholarship nomination form.

Good to have the rulebook out since that's always the first step toward the start of the season. I look forward to the boys busting out their baseball cleats and gloves and getting ready for a great season!
