American Legion National Commander Dale Barnett engaged in a nationwide radio blitz Tuesday, taking his message of VA accountability to 18 radio stations and syndicates during a four-hour period, which included the much desired morning “drive time” audiences in major cities and communities.
In markets from Seattle to Orlando, the shows claim a combined listenership exceeding 23 million. Included in the interviews was an appearance on the Bill Martinez Show, which is syndicated on 250 stations with an estimated 5.25 million listeners. Martinez, a Legionnaire, stated his full support for Barnett’s efforts to improve VA during the informative interview, which is No. 8 in the list featured online at www.legion.org/commander/radio.
