Edgar L. Horne of Wamic, Ore. Edgar L. Horne of Post 135 (Department of Oregon) passed away April 6 at the age of 78. He was a Vietnam War Army veteran. Mr. Horne served as department commander from 2007-2008, department vice commander from 2006-2007, National Distinguished Guests Committee vice chairman from 2007-2008, and National Convention Resolutions Assignment Committee member from 2008-2010.

Raymond E. Callegary of Luthvle Timon, Md. Raymond E. Callegary of Post 174 (Department of Maryland) passed away April 12 at the age of 88. He was a World War II Navy veteran. Mr. Callegary served as department commander from 1972-1973, department vice commander from 1971-1972, National Americanism Council vice chairman from 1971-1972, National Foreign Relations Council vice chairman from 1980-1991, and National Convention Resolutions Assignment Committee member from 1973-1976.

Dale R. Salmen of Round Mountain, Nev. Dale R. Salmen of Post 18 (Department of Nevada) passed away April 19 at the age of 70. He was a Vietnam War Army veteran. Mr. Salmen served as department commander from 1990-1991, department vice commander from 1988-1990, National Executive Committee alternate member from 1992-1994, National Americanism Commission Liaison Committee member from 2012-2013, National Distinguished Guests Committee vice chairman from 1998-1999, National Foreign Relations Council vice chairman from 1994-1996 and 2002-2004, National Internal Affairs Commission Liaison Committee member from 2013-2014, National Vice Commander from 2001-2001, National Executive Committee member from 2012-2014.
