George W. Seeburger of the Department of France, a 36-year member of the Legion, died Dec. 30 at 79. He was a Vietnam War Army veteran and a member of Post GR14 in Büdingen, Germany.

National Vice Commander and FODPAL Secretary Doug Haggan commented, "George was a faithful member and supporter of The American Legion, Department of France for more years than I can remember. You could always count on George to attend the national convention no matter where it was held, and George was also long time JA or Asst. JA of FODPAL, and helped in the writing of the first FODPAL constitution and by-laws. You will be missed George; REST IN PEACE."
