Net Control Station W9WMJ conducted the monthly net on *FMCA-ARC* EchoLink Conference Node 522547 on Saturday, Sept. 10, 2016. The net was opened at 1200 ET [1600Z] and closed at 1300 ET [1700Z]. There were 18 check-ins, including Net Control. It's worth pointing out that this net was operational for 45 minutes with a great deal of discussion among those who checked in.

Discussion on the net was offered in regard to the following:
• Incidents related to the 9/11 Attack on America
• Larry, KD6SWL, noted that CA Dist. 13 was to conduct a 9/11 memorial service. Larry also invited everyone to check in to their EchoLink Conference net on Sundays at 1330 PDT on the FMCA-ARC EchoLink Conference node.
• Chris, W4CEC, spoke of his post's [GA 284] amateur radio licensing classes which are conducted frequently by Eldon, N1MN, and others at the post. Next class is scheduled for November 2016.
• Larry, W7LSE, reported that his post [NV 76] has formed an amateur radio club. He asked for ideas for participation in TALARC at the post level; how to garner support; and how to acquire equipment when the local post is not fully capable of providing sufficient moneys to fund operations of a post club.
• Tom, WB7OUT, reported that his post [AZ 19] has a club and conducts amateur radio license testing monthly.
