Veterans outreach coming to Minnesota

Department of Minnesota Legionnaires will be conducting a district revitalization and veterans outreach effort in and around Hennepin County. Legionnaires will be on hand to discuss veterans benefits and service to the community.

All veterans in the area are invited to attend the event, which will take place from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Nov. 7-8 and 9 a.m.-noon Nov. 9 at Richfield Post 435, 6501 Portland Ave, Richfield.

A veterans service officer will be available all three days to assist with Department of Veterans Affairs-related questions and other veterans benefits issues.
