Whiteblooms is autobiographical, covering my tour of duty in Vietnam from 1967 to 1968 as well as continuing many years since this time in my life.
This writing includes journals as well as poetry, and although not intentional, does reflect symptoms of PTSD and some of the struggles that were brought about from my experiences in Vietnam.
It is my hope that this book will encourage others to always look for the beauty in life, which never goes away but is sometimes shielded by traumatic external and internal experiences we might share.

About the author:

I have been writing poetry, prose and short stories beginning in 1967 while serving in Vietnam as a young Marine. It has been my good fortune to reconnect with people who have read my writings in a positive way through the years. I believe that we are connected through our experiences, and in the sharing of our experiences our connection is made more clear. It is my hope to continue not only to share previous experiences, but the ones of today which are passing so quickly.
