Anthony Wright

SAL National Adjutant

Anthony W. Wright was appointed National Adjutant of the Sons of The American Legion in August 2017. 

Anthony is a 29-year, honorary life member of Thomas W. O’Connor Squadron 602 in Spring City, Pennsylvania. 

Anthony’s eligibility is through his late grandfather, Harry W. Thomas who served in the United States Army during World War II and was a member of Nathan Holmes Post 362 in West Chester, Pennsylvania. 

Anthony has served every elected and appointed office at the Squadron level and he currently serves as both the District and Detachment Adjutant. On the Detachment level, he served various elected and appointed positions and was elected Detachment Commander of Pennsylvania in 2003. 

On the National level, Anthony served as Vice-Chairman of the Americanism Commission. He was previously appointed to serve as a National Assistant Adjutant. He is a graduate of the Detachment Commanders School, National Management Institute, and completed The American Legion Basic Training online course.
