American Legion Baseball had a successful year in 2018, with over 2,000 registered teams that resulted in one World Series champion. A video is available that captures several of Legion Baseball's highlights from the year.
These include Wilmington, Del., Post 1 winning its first American Legion World Series (ALWS) title in state history; two ALWS plays featured in Sport Center Top 10 Plays; the Player of the Year honored in Cooperstown, N.Y.; and Legion players participating in Major League Baseball Play Ball events.
