Fake tag rule, other rules clarifications presented at baseball conference

Several rule change recommendations were proposed at the American Legion Baseball Chairman’s Conference in Indianapolis, Sept. 24-26.

Those recommendations include adding a “fake tag” rule and clarification edits to Rule 1.R. Pitching Rule; Rule 9.J. Suspended Games; and Rule 9.K. Active Players. Rule changes must be approved by the Americanism Commission.

The conference also included presentations on the single sign-in process, team registration and emblem usage.
