Georgia post to train legal immigrants

Members of American Legion Post 29 in Marietta, Ga., will receive training May 20 from the Office of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. This training will allow the post to provide classes for legal immigrants in the Marietta area, giving them the information they need to pass naturalization exams and become U.S. citizens. If all goes well for this pilot program, other Legion posts and departments may follow suit.
