54 students to attend National Legion College

The 2022 National American Legion College gets underway Sunday, Dec. 11, with 54 American Legion members representing 38 departments. National Legion College is held at National Headquarters in Indianapolis where the students will receive instruction through classroom lectures and small group sessions.

Throughout the week the students will develop institutional knowledge, as well as build effective leadership and mentorship skills for every level of the organization. Several of the course topics include: effective leadership and communication; critical thinking and problem solving; membership engagement and retention; member training; meeting management; and resolution writing.

The 2022 National Legion College class will graduate Friday, Dec. 16.
