Department of Indiana hiring for adjutant

The Department of Indiana has an opening for its adjutant position. The following is the job description.  

The adjutant is an appointed officer of the organization whose primary responsibilities are those of chief administrative officer, reporting directly to the department commander. The incumbent serves as secretary for the Department Executive Committee and the annual governing convention with the responsibility of administering and executing the mandates and policies of both bodies, and additional assignment to key permanent and temporary committees. Overall administrative responsibilities include but are not limited to supervision of subordinate employees, preparation and management of the annual operating budget, general oversight of membership, communications and program activities, and planning and execution of department conferences, meetings and the annual convention. Excellent communication skills, including written, oral presentation, and the use of Information Technology systems and programs are essential. Mature judgment, flexibility, and creative problem solving are essential characteristics of the department adjutant.
